Responsibilities:
- Check the materials and work in progress to ensure compliance with specified requirements and safety regulations
- Lead and coordinate with the site engineers, site supervisors & project manager for site activities
- Conduct daily site inspection and supervision of deep excavation/mined and bored tunneling works
- Review and prepare method statements for submission to client
- Monitor and track site progress, manpower mobilization and equipment deployment
- Ensure job safety analysis and site safety compliance
- Prepare work progress report
- Plan the construction schedule and coordinate various subcontractors to ensure work runs smoothly
- Cost monitoring for the site activities
- Responsible for Traffic Staging & Sustainability Objectives
- Prepare and execute Early Works & Temporary Works(Including Land Access)
- Prepare report and method statement whenever necessary
- Handle stakeholders relationships with a collaborative approach
- Civil Construction- Earthwork, Concrete and Steel Structures, Diaphragm walls, Earth Anchor,Piling,Girder etc
- Any other adhoc duties which may be assigned as required
Requirements:
- Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by the PE Board or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years of experience in construction industry with at least 8 years of experience in Road or Civil projects in an EPC main contractor capacity handling mega infrastructure project
- Meticulous with leadership/problem-solving skills/qualities
- Experiences in underground tunnelling works projects in main contractor capacity will be an added advantage
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Capacity to handle pressure
- 6 days work week and ability to work on weekends if needs arise
