Business Development Manager

TASGLOBAL-SG is a pioneer in providing advanced marine solutions, specializing in hull cleaning using remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) and other disruptive maritime technologies. With partnerships with industry giants like MAERSK, CMA-CGM, and HMM, we are rapidly expanding our presence in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region. We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive our growth and lead new business initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the maritime sector, focusing on shipping companies, ports, and marine agencies.
  • Build and foster strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance revenue opportunities.
  • Lead contract negotiations and manage partnerships to achieve company growth targets.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research and competitor analysis to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Formulate and execute business development strategies to expand TASGLOBAL’s service offerings regionally and globally.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to promote our services and generate new leads.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams, including operations and marketing, to ensure business development efforts align with company objectives.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, budgets, and reports for management.

Requirements:

  • Held a similar post in business development, sales, or a related role within the maritime, shipping, or logistics industry.
  • Bachelor’s degree (BSc or equivalent) in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the maritime industry, with an established network of contacts in ship management, shipowners, or port authorities.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to establish and maintain client relationships.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue new market opportunities.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and internationally when required.
