Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and manage IT infrastructure components, including hypervisors (such as VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
- Configure and manage virtualization environments to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security.
- Implement and manage networking solutions to support organizational needs, including LAN/WAN, VPNs,firewalls, and load balancers.
- Troubleshoot network-related issues and ensure network security and efficiency.
- Set up, configure, and maintain physical servers, including mounting and cabling within server racks.
- Perform regular maintenance, updates, and upgrades on servers to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Monitor server performance and troubleshoot hardware and software issues as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of the IT infrastructure, including network diagrams,server configurations, and cabling layouts.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and internal security policies.
Skills Required:
- Proven experience as a System Engineer, Network Engineer, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of hypervisors (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V) and virtualization technologies.
- Solid understanding of networking protocols, equipment, and security practices.
- Hands-on experience with server hardware setup, including mounting, cabling, and troubleshooting.
