Functional
- Evaluate the credit risk of PFS borrowers and credit decision is made within the bank’s credit policies & SOP, compliance requirements and delegated authorized limit
- Ensure that all credit applications are processed within the established timeline.
- Ensure that the credit evaluation framework and processes are in compliance with internal guidelines and regulatory requirements set by MAS and BNM
- Random sampling ensure cases are approved within internal and Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) &/ or Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) guidelines
- To work closely with Portfolio Analytics team on the performance of the portfolios
- Actively review secured and unsecured loans’ credit policies, SOP on portfolio basis to align with MAS, BNM compliance requirements, group policies, market environment, Bank strategies and risk appetite
- Ensure all audit review are within compliance and pass with satisfactory conduct
- Foster effective collaboration with key stakeholders, including business, risk management, legal & compliance to meet their objectives while taking into account the Bank’s risk appetite and adherence to statutory/ bank requirements.
- Stay updated on relevant industry regulations, compliance requirements and internal policies.
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders including business, technology, risk management, compliance and operations teams to align credit approval processes with digital initiatives and leverage automation opportunities
- Drive continuous optimization efforts, including automation and straight-through processing (STP) to streamline workflow and enhance efficiency.
