Job Description:
- Safely operate company vehicles to deliver products to various retail outlets.
- Plan delivery routes to optimize efficiency and ensure timely deliveries.
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Verify delivery instructions and product quantities before departure.
- Follow traffic laws and safety regulations at all times while driving.
- Communicate effectively with supervisor and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
- Inspect vehicles regularly to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
- Assist with other duties as needed, such as warehouse tasks or inventory management.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 3 driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or similar role.
- Familiarity with local roads and routes.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends as needed.
