We are a local chain of Noodle and Western cuisine stalls seeking an experienced and skilled Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will play a vital role in managing our financial operations, ensuring compliance, and maintaining relationships with external parties.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely preparation and posting of journal entries to maintain the integrity of financial data.
- Perform detailed reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate cash balances and proper cashflow management.
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes, including invoicing, payment processing, and managing cash flow to ensure operational efficiency.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for regulatory audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Perform and manage intercompany reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting across entities.
- Support the payroll processing function, ensuring accurate and timely employee compensation.
- File Annual Returns (AR) with the relevant authorities
- Liaise with external parties, including auditors, tax agents, and government agencies
- Submit financial survey data to relevant authorities
- Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as required
Requirements
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Must have experience with intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
- Experience with subsidiary accounting.
- Proficiency in booking overhead and administration expenses, including the use of project codes and other dimensions for accurate cost allocation.
- Strong foundation in Excel or other accounting software.
- Strong understanding of food business foundation.
