Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Onsite Project Engineer to oversee and manage various projects within our organization's operations in Singapore. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of successful project execution. As a Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects while adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Lead project teams in the execution of tasks, ensuring adherence to project timelines and milestones.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and proactively implement corrective actions to keep projects on track.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, clients, and external partners.
- Communicate project updates, status reports, and relevant information to all stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and seamless coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and expenditure control.
- Allocate and optimize resources effectively to ensure efficient project execution.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements without compromising project quality.
- Ensure that projects meet and exceed quality standards through rigorous testing and validation processes.
- Facilitate post-project evaluations to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
- Identify potential project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies to minimize their impact.
- Monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle, adapting strategies as needed to address evolving challenges.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and relevant correspondence.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive project reports to senior management and stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Establish a connect with the clients and give them the confidence of project delivery and execution and timely completion
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Site Manager in construction or related industries
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, BCA & regulations, and quality standards
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Candidate should know to drive a vehicle
