Job Description
· Collaborate with Mathematicians, Project Managers, Artists, and Developers to create engaging and competitive games.
· Generate and assess game concepts and features, contributing to the development of the overall game design strategy.
· Participate in the creation and review of original game designs, new game themes, and concepts.
· Communicate and maintain project-related documentation, including proof-of-concept presentations, high-level design summaries, and detailed design schematics.
· Ensure that products align with game design, player behaviour, and business goals by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
· Playtest and provide regular, detailed feedback on prototypes and final products.
· Continuously play the team’s games during development to ensure functionality and production value meet design requirements and department standards.
· Stay informed about industry trends and apply knowledge to enhance design strategies.
Job Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Game Design or related field (Master's degree a plus).
· Strong practical experience in game design, with a solid grounding in theory, especially in UX and player psychology.
· Excellent communication skills for documentation (writing technical documents, creating mock-ups) and self-expression (articulate, able to present ideas to varying audiences).
· Knowledge of Maths is a bonus.
· Knowledge of programming, preferably C/C++ or any other languages, is a bonus.
· Knowledge of Unity is a bonus.
· Demonstrated creativity in providing new ideas and problem-solving.
· Ability to work in a creative and collaborative environment.
· Ability to multitask and work on multiple games simultaneously.
· Self-driven, initiative, and a positive attitude.
