Ageing is the key risk factor for heart disease in our older population. The study of ageing in heart disease encompasses the whole spectrum across research to clinical domains. The team at National Heart Centre Singapore and National Heart Research Institute Singapore strives to align research activities according to goals of Singapore’s biomedical and healthcare initiatives. This will include preventive and clinical translational strategies with direct impact on population and clinical patients.
We are seeking motivated individual to support our team’s work in heart ageing. The candidate’s involvement will include organising and conducting research studies under the supervision of the Principal Investigator or designate. Scholarly work such as writing and reviewing research papers and presentation of research outcomes are expected. Opportunities to conceptualise independent research projects for career growth will be encouraged. Team-players are preferred as there will be opportunities to guide and mentor students and research assistants.
Requirements:
- BSc comparable qualifications with relevant research experience
- Good organisational skills
- A strong team player
