6 Days Work Week, 8.00pm – 5.30pm / 8.30am – 6pm
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Civil Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in the execution and delivery of civil engineering projects across various locations. This position requires a proactive individual with a strong technical background and the ability to manage complex project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Coordination: Develop comprehensive project plans, including scheduling, resource allocation, and budgeting, ensuring all milestones are met within the agreed timelines.
- Site Supervision & Management: Oversee and coordinate daily site activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards across multiple locations.
- Technical Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve complex engineering challenges on-site, providing technical guidance to the project team to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, effectively managing expectations and ensuring all project requirements are fulfilled to the highest standards.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all project activities comply with relevant legal, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining meticulous records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Budget & Cost Control: Monitor project expenditures, manage cost variations, and implement effective cost-saving measures to ensure projects are delivered within budget.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 3- 5 years of experience in civil engineering project management.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously across different locations.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel across the island as required.
