About The Role
We are looking for a talented QA Engineer with a strong background in automation to focus on developing and maintaining egression test scripts using Katalon Studio for a 6-month contract. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the stability and functionality of our software products by creating comprehensive regression test suites that support continuous integration and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Katalon Studio for web applications.
- Develop comprehensive regression test plans and strategies to ensure comprehensive coverage of new and existing functionalities.
- Collaborate with development and product teams to understand application changes, feature enhancements, and identify regression testing needs.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of automation best practices and standards.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
- Conduct manual testing, execute test cases where automation may not be feasible or if it is required.
- Document test processes, results, and issues, and provide regular reports to the project team and stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate and improve automation strategies and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in automated testing with tools such as Katalon, Selenium, Cypress, JUnit, TestNG, or similar
- Experience with scripting languages such as Groovy (preferred), Java, or JavaScript
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and troubleshoot issues in test automation scripts
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is preferrable
- Experienced with API testing
- Experienced with Zephyr and Jira
- Keen attention to detail with a focus on delivering high-quality results
- Position open exclusively to Singaporean citizens or Permanent Residents able to commit to a 6-month contract
