As a Command Centre Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring systems, applications, and network infrastructure events on a 24x7x365 basis, ensuring timely response and resolution of incidents in alignment with established processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor and respond to system, application, and network events using monitoring tools.
- Provide first call resolution by troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, and responding to user support requests.
- Conduct Level 1 analysis of incidents based on Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and escalate to Level 2 support where necessary.
- Perform daily operational activities, ensuring tasks are completed as per the daily checklist.
- Monitor, track, and update change management activities, as well as routine operational activities.
- Ensure smooth handover of outstanding activities and tasks to incoming shift teams by documenting and communicating all relevant information.
Mandatory Skills:
- ITIL IT Service Management
Preferred Skills:
- At least two (2) years of experience as a command centre operator with 12-hour shift rotation.
- A minimum of three (3) years of IT experience with hands-on expertise in either MS Windows or Unix platforms.
- At least two (2) years of Incident Management experience.
- ITIL V3 Foundation Certification.
Shift Pattern:
- 12-hour rotating shifts (8 AM – 8 PM / 8 PM – 8 AM), 24x7x365 operations.
