The role involves driving profitable sales revenue and expanding the customer base through prospecting, cold calling, and targeted sales activities. Responsibilities include developing business with existing accounts, facilitating quotes, strategizing, and building relationships to meet revenue targets, maximize profits, increase market share, and maintain customer loyalty.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect and cold call new accounts. Lead sales calls with key customers and meet sales activity KPIs and revenue targets.
- Develop client relationships and long-term business partnerships. Manage and support customer accounts and distributors.
- Negotiate product and service values.
- Survey and forecast market trends and competitive threats.
- Plan and direct sales activities and strategies. Participate in trade shows and follow up on leads.
- Coordinate with support personnel to meet sales objectives.
- Provide internal reports to management.
- Plan travel schedules within budget guidelines.
- Ensure customer-specific requirements are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business.
- Minimum 5-7 years of business-to-business sales experience in the industrial market.
- Experience with distributors and technical sales.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- High energy level and goal-oriented.
- Creative problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM.
- Ability to interpret customer concepts and make application suggestions.
- This role requires remote working.
- Ability to travel 50% of the time to customers, suppliers, and other locations.
