As a Clinical Psychologist, you will be responsible for the following duties:
Specialties:
- Psychology Service
- Psychological Medicine
- Child Development
- Psychological Medicine - Community Program
- General Paediatrics Psychology, as well as Adolescent and Eating Disorders team.
- Conducting scientific studies of behavior patterns and cognitive function
- Diagnosing potential disorders
- Provide psychological interventions and psychometric assessment for general paediatric psychology service, within both inpatient and outpatient contexts.
- Meeting with patients to discuss their concerns about their mental health, assessing their symptoms to diagnose their condition and applying treatment methods to help their patients cope with or overcome their mental health conditions.
- Providing support to children and teenagers, including their parents who present with a range of difficulties related to learning problems, emotional, behavioral to mental health difficulties.
- Providing care to adolescents with a broad range of mental health disorders such as eating disorders and other common psychiatric conditions.
- Researching psychological, emotional, behavioral or organizational patterns and identifying issues
- Opportunity to be part of multidisciplinary teams, working with adult population, run group programs and participate in education and research activities when available.

Requirements:
- Master or Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from an accredited university program.
- Posses an existing registration / membership, or eligible for membership / registration, with professional psychological bodies such as Singapore Psychological Society, Australian Psychological Society.
- Good understanding of child and adolescent development.
- Ability to work with children and adolescent, together with their families is desirable.
- Knowledge of psychometric assessments, competency in administering and interpreting a wide range of psychological assessments and self-report questionnaires.
- Well-developed skills in delivering Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and other interventions.
- Understanding of evidence-based treatments in eating disorders. Prior training in Family-Based Treatment (FBT) is desirable, though not essential.
