On behalf of the hiring company which is in the built environment sector, we are looking for a suitable candidate to join them as a Sales Engineer.
Responsibilities
Business Development and Sales:
- Prospecting: Identify, develop, and follow up on new sales leads and prospects through various channels (cold calling, emailing, networking).
- Sales Presentations: Present company offerings and solutions to potential customers during trade shows, events, or in-person meetings.
- Quotations: Generate accurate and timely quotations for customer inquiries.
- Account Management: Manage and service assigned accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting sales targets.
Relationship Building:
- Client Relationships: Build, strengthen, and optimize relationships with clients, prospects, and partners.
- Customer Service: Ensure timely response to customer inquiries and feedback.
Company Culture and Compliance:
- Compliance: Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and local laws related to EDI, health, safety, and well-being.
Requirements and qualifications
- Hold a bachelor's degree or diploma in Civil, Mechanical, Material Sciences Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on sales experience.
- Requires up to 25% local travel to visit local business sites.
- Prefer candidates with prior experience in the construction, building, or infrastructure field.
- Ability to effectively present information and ideas.
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal abilities.
- A responsible and mature individual who is driven to achieve goals.
Commission:
- On-Target Earnings: Compensation will be based on a performance-based On-Target Earnings Scheme.
Remuneration will be pegged on experience and qualification
