Responsibilities:
- Pro-actively monitor, analyse, troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues to ensure uninterrupted operation.
- Coordinate with other NSCC technical personnel to optimize storage performance and scalability.
- Periodically monitor and conduct storage performance test and analisys, utilization rate and capacity planning.
- Maintain data protection and disaster recovery strategies.
- Exploring new solution and best practices in HPC storage technologies.
- Assist in designing the next phase of NSCC’s infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Degree in a Computational Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledgeable about parallel file systems and data management concepts.
- Experience with HPC parallel storage solutions such as Lustre, GPFS, or similar.
- Competency in a UNIX/Linux command line environment highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years in handling HPC storage related environments.
