Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Implementation Phase:
- RFP Support: Collaborate with the Sales and Relationship Directors to prepare custom project plans, self-bios, and address technical or system integration queries, with a focus on core banking system integration.
- Sales Support: Assist in key sales presentations, providing expertise on technical solutions, particularly in cash management, trade finance, and core banking systems, including timelines and implementation processes.
- Consultation & Best Practices: Engage with stakeholders to gather and share best practices tailored to clients’ needs in cash management, liquidity, and trade finance.
- Expert Insight: Provide strategic insights to Sales, Product Directors, and clients regarding optimal solutions and execution paths, particularly in core banking and trade finance solutions.
Implementation Phase:
- Project Management: Take ownership of managing project timelines, ensuring the successful implementation of client-specific solutions, including complex cash management, liquidity management, and trade finance solutions such as Host-to-Host connections, SWIFT direct connections, Cash Pooling, Supplier Finance, and Reconciliation.
- Single Point of Contact: Act as the primary contact for clients, coordinating between client teams, IT vendors, and internal partners (the Sales, Relationship Directors, HQ support, IT, Legal, and Product Teams).
- Client Satisfaction: Ensure the delivered solution, including core banking and TF products, aligns with the client’s business objectives and operational requirements.
- Client Training & Engagement: Provide regular training sessions to clients on cash management systems, fostering strong client relationships, and gathering feedback to optimize future implementations and customer satisfaction.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively collect feedback during implementation phases, particularly on liquidity management systems, and share valuable insights with the Sales, Product, and Coverage teams to enhance service offerings.
Post-Implementation & Support Phase:
- Collaboration & Support: Support regional and in-country the teams in project execution, providing level-2 support for complex core banking solutions and assisting branch teams with guidance.
- Client Support: Provide ongoing assistance to regional clients with sophisticated transaction banking solutions, especially cash and liquidity management systems.
- Risk & Compliance: Ensure all projects adhere to regulatory frameworks, internal policies, and risk controls. Timely reporting of risk issues to the department head or team lead.
Job Requirements:
- A Master’s degree in Banking & Finance, Business, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Minimum of 15 years' experience in corporate banking, with significant expertise in implementation or project management, preferably in cash management, trade finance, supply chain finance, treasury and liquidity management, reconciliation, and payment systems, including core banking solutions.
- Strong knowledge of OFSSA core banking systems, cash management, liquidity management, and trade finance solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to work within matrix organizations and regional multi-country operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
