Key Responsibilities
l Oversee the certification and self-declaration of conformity processes for products or technical solutions, including quotation review, testing coordination, and report assessment.
l Monitor the advancement of certification tests, collaborating independently or alongside technical teams, and effectively address any encountered challenges.
l Coordinate factory inspections and product sampling tests mandated by regulatory bodies, ensuring diligent tracking of progress and outcomes.
l Manage and oversee the entire lifecycle of product certifications, including updates to testing reports, self-declarations of conformity, distribution, archival procedures, and related responsibilities.
l Actively participate as a member in relevant standards committees or work groups to contribute expertise and insights when appropriate.
l Completing other related tasks assigned.
Requirements
l Proficiency in English is essential for certification work in the electrical industry.
l Ability to conduct testing and on-site fault analysis.
l Familiar with relevant certification policies, codes and regulations.
l Familiar with the standards, certification procedures, and processes of relevant products or technical solutions.
l Having good relationships with local testing and certification bodies.
l Strong self-learning ability, proficient in using various office software, teamwork spirit, and good communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
l Open to Singaporeans and Singapore Permanent Residents (SPR) only
