We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chemical Application Specialist to join a chemical company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemical applications, with specific experience in managing and optimizing chemical processes.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and secure business opportunities.
- Foster strong relationships with Sales, Country Managers, and Product Managers.
- Leverage team experiences and insights to enhance overall performance.
- Provide technical assistance to customers across different regions.
- Assist all departments in achieving the company’s annual financial plans.
- Ensure alignment with sales and profit targets for long-term business success.
- Collaborate with the Sales team on high-priority projects.
- Develop best practice guidelines for applications.
- Train the sales team on effective practices and Key Account Management concepts.
- Evaluate application technology through lab studies, process surveys, and simulation studies.
- Prepare technical reports and troubleshoot processes.
- Apply in-depth knowledge of chemicals relevant to the industry.
- Understand fabric treatment, fiber strength improvement, and foam control.
- Conduct seminars to promote company products and gather market feedback.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a science or technical specialty (or equivalent industry managerial experience).
- Hands-on experience in FWC, WSDS, Enzyme, and defoamer applications1
- Fluent in English and Mandarin.
- Minimum of 10 years of management experience in a business-to-business sales environment.
- Thorough knowledge of process troubleshooting and chemical applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Business acumen and effective planning and organizing abilities.
- Willingness to travel.
- Willing to Travel.
