JOB SUMMARY
- You will support the Head of Finance in managing the Association’s finance operation and reporting functions. You will also play an important role in reinforcing the compliance of financial policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure timely closing of monthly and year-end financial accounts, including preparation of annual financial statements and audit schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budget and variance analysis.
- Assist in providing business/financial advisory and support to the operational units.
- Ensure that transactions are properly recorded and in compliance with internal controls and procedures.
- Prepare quarterly GST submissions and quarterly / annual statistical surveys.
- Prepare financial reports for submission to the relevant authorities.
- Liaise with internal and external auditors.
- Review accounting system and processes and assist in the enhancement to ensure continuous improvement.
- Participate in and manage ad-hoc projects when required.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma and/or Degree in Accountancy or Finance.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience as an Accountant. Audit experience will be an advantage.
- Knowledgeable in financial management reporting and budgeting.
- Meticulous, detailed-oriented with good analytical skills.
- An innovative team player that is dynamic, self-motivated, pro-active, and results oriented with the determination to succeed.
- Knowledge in Navision will be advantageous.
