Responsibilities:
Contracts
• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of agreements, contracts and other legal documents, such as sales and purchase agreements, tender documents, services agreements, reseller agreements and NDAs
• Collaborate with business units of the company and its regional offices through provision of legal support and practical advice during the contract review and negotiation process
• Apply risk management controls and proactive identification of legal issues to provide a timely and effective contract review process
Corporate Matters
• Assist with corporate secretarial matters, such as drafting of board resolutions and SGX announcements
• Liaison with external firms on corporate secretarial related matters
• Maintain records of the company and its regional offices
Requirements:
• Possess a law degree from an internationally recognized institution
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a law firm or as an in-house counsel, with good knowledge of contract terms and proficiency in contract drafting
• Possess good time management skills to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects
• Strong business acumen with excellent writing and communication skills to communicate with
colleagues from regional offices
• Excellent team player with good interpersonal skills
• Meticulous, organized and conscientious individual with a strong sense of responsibility and initiative
• Self-motivated, willing to learn and take on new challenges
