Responsibilities:
· Assisting and delivering tailored solutions to the company's Fixed Income Trading & Sales teams in Singapore.
· Joining a skilled group responsible for maintaining and overseeing applications that support pricing, risk management, electronic/algorithmic trading, and trade capture functionalities.
· The position will primarily focus on first- and second-tier application support, facilitating interactions with diverse stakeholders including the Front and Middle Office, Risk Management, Back Office, Product Control, Development, and IT Infrastructure teams.
· The selected individual is expected to be hands-on and demonstrate a proactive approach to expanding their knowledge.
· The systems and applications used are a blend of third-party and proprietary tools, specifically targeting PnL and Risk management.
· On-call support and shift work are occasionally required.
Skills and Experience
· Background in supporting applications related to trading, pricing, and risk management.
· Experience working with front-to-back trading systems and desks.
· Comfort with troubleshooting trade breaks, data issues, and connectivity concerns in trading systems.
· Familiarity with systems such as Bloomberg TOMS and ION for trade capture.
· A solid grasp of financial markets and products, particularly in Fixed Income and interest rate instruments.
· Knowledge of electronic trading, market connectivity, market-making processes, and algorithmic trading.
· Proven ability to collaborate with developers, business analysts, and system support teams.
· Hands-on experience with technologies such as Linux, Windows Servers, Oracle, and SQL.
· In-depth understanding of Fixed Income markets, particularly treasury and bond trading.
· Proficiency in scripting, SQL, and/or programming languages.
· Familiarity with IT project management and development lifecycles (SDLC), agile methodologies, and ITIL processes.
· Strong analytical mindset.
