The Senior Sales Manager is a key position in this fine wine company, and is in charge of business development within assigned accounts/territory. It includes promoting products for his/her customer portfolio and leading the offer preparation process, and business negotiations through to finalized sale. The position reports to the CEO of the company. This role requires strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to thrive in a competitive international business environment. The Sales Manager ensures well-executed sales strategies and key accounts’ continuity, effectively ensuring the viability of the business, and is an essential part of the team.
Your Responsibilities: -
- Develop the business, working closely with CEO to formulate planning and strategy to maximize sales and profit, with a good understanding of company positioning.
- Present regular reports for market forecast and analysis, ensuring profitability of the business.
- Maintain, improve and establish relationships with customers, initiating the processes of ordering, payment, delivery, and any service recovery if required
- Support participation in trade shows and industry events for branding and networking
- Develop new team members with guidance and product knowledge
- Occasionally, provide cover in the absence of colleagues
Requirements: -
- 10 to 15 years experience in fine wine sales or key account management, with knowledge of portfolio management.
- Independent with leadership attributes, with good communication and interpersonal skills
