- Role Description:
The Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor (Executive) manages and prepares all the cost estimates for the construction projects. This ranges from initial calculations to the final accounts to help in bidding and determining the price of the service.
- Specific Responsibilities:
1.Trainee will be able to maintain polite and professional communication with team members. Trainee will prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation
2. Trainee will be able to coordinate and work with other team members, engage, coordinate and oversee all tenders to ensure timely submission to clients
3. Trainee will liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers to do sourcing of quotations and evaluate quotations received from suppliers and sub-contractors.
4. Trainee will assist the designer in reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements, do research about basic construction work, following company's safety procedures, rules and regulations and eliminate or reduce hazard at the work place.
5. Trainee will establish and maintain professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders, analyse costs for maintenance and additional building needs and then negotiate with contractors and subcontractors

6. Education Qualifications Required for the Traineeship Role Under SGUnited Traineeship:
This position is open for both recent graduates and mid-career individuals (mature and non-mature). Graduates interested in this position should possess a Degree and above Qualification. Mid-career individuals from any qualification level can apply.
