Responsibilities:
· Ensure maintenance work is executed effectively, efficiently and complied with safety and regulatory requirement.
o Plan, control, organize, supervise plant and equipment overhaul, inspection, servicing program during plant scheduled outage
o Responsible for effective implementation of maintenance programs and condition monitoring.
o Obtain Permit-to-Work (PTW) for maintenance work.
o Review, improve, update maintenance practices to be in line with industries best practices.
o Review and propose solutions to improve work efficiency and effectiveness.
o Guide and make appropriate changes to meet necessity in maintenance work.
· Response and attend to plant failures and forced outages to ensure timely and proper rectification and restoration.
o Conduct, review and evaluate root cause findings and propose solutions.
o Allocate manpower, equipment, tools, and resources to repair and rectified failure and malfunction.
o Follow up on the recommendations of the RCA.
· Modification, upgrading and installation of plant system and equipment where necessary for enhancement, availability, and reliability improvement.
o Review and finalize engineering drawings including implementation schedule that include resources and manpower allocated.
· Procurement of parts and services to meet the maintenance needs of the section, including spare parts and external services for routine and breakdown maintenance.
· Contracts management and administration.
· Lead and manage a team of technical officers and technicians under his charge
· Ensure EHV equipment, such as EHV Switchboards, maintenance work is executed effectively, efficiently and complied with safety and regulatory requirement
o Plan, organize, supervise EHV equipment overhaul, inspection, servicing program during plant scheduled outage.
o Coordinate between section and other department of the company, as well as, contractor for the maintenance work.
o Develop condition monitoring program for EHV equipment.
o Allocate manpower, equipment, tools, and resources to repair and rectified failure and Malfunction.
o Test, verify, re-commissioned rectified system or equipment.
· Troubleshoot and analyze root cause of plant failure and outages.
Requirements:
· Minimum a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or relevant.
· At least 5years of relevant experience, preferably with at least 2years in Power Plant industry.
· Experience in SAP PM & MM will be an added advantage.
· Able to work independently or as a team.
