- This is a outsourced role, client located in the CBD area.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate corporate tax compliance engagements, including personal, partnership, and withholding tax.
- Develop budgets, assess resource needs, and manage and monitor engagements.
- Maintain ongoing client interactions to manage expectations and deliver exceptional service.
- Supervise the tax compliance process, adapting to any challenges that arise.
- Lead the tax compliance team by delegating tasks, providing coaching and training, and addressing staffing issues.
- Handle tax-related queries and resolve disputes with tax authorities.
- Share expertise to foster professional growth and improve service delivery. Encourage open communication and manage staff effectively.
- Participate in recruitment efforts as needed.
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused work environment.
- Identify and assess business development opportunities.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships within the company.
- Assist with ad-hoc projects and related tasks as required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a recognized professional qualification.
- Proven client management skills and leadership potential.
- Extensive experience in tax compliance with a strong track record in quality management and team leadership.
- Solid understanding of business and tax technical issues, with the ability to provide value-added solutions for clients..
- Strong communication skills to deliver effective client service.
- A collaborative team player who can meet deadlines and work independently.
- Familiarity with Singtax (Corporate & Personal) is preferred.
