Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced IT Project Manager to lead and manage IT infrastructure projects from planning to execution. This role will require collaboration with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of IT solutions that support the organisation’s goals. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in IT infrastructure, excellent project management skills, and a strategic mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of IT infrastructure projects, including network upgrades, data center migrations, and cloud implementations.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables that align with business goals.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies to meet project timelines.
- Identify and mitigate risks, troubleshoot issues, and resolve conflicts that may impact project success.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers to ensure timely and quality delivery of products and services.
- Provide regular status reports to stakeholders, highlighting project progress, risks, and any necessary course corrections.
- Ensure all project documentation, including technical designs, user guides, and training materials, are completed and maintained.
- Oversee the testing, implementation, and transition of infrastructure projects to operations teams for ongoing support.
