Morgan McKinley is seeking an Actuarial Pricing Analyst for a 12 month contract assignment with a possibility to extend or to go perm!
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the end-to-end pricing process, including premium and benefit pricing, actuarial assumption setting, profitability testing, and product implementation
- Collaborate with IT, Product, Policy Servicing, and New Business teams to ensure timely delivery of system migration
- Provide ad hoc support to Products, Distribution, and Policy Servicing teams on client requests, including in-force policy statements, post-sales illustrations, channel incentive analysis, and marketing campaign setup
- Participate in risk management projects, including market risk mitigation, insurance risk review, and operational risk management
- Contribute to department-wide exercises, such as periodic experience studies updates, financial stress tests, board reports, regulatory initiatives, systems infrastructure upgrades, sales tools, and marketing support
- Support the Head of Pricing in safeguarding the financial health of the insurance company and protecting the interests of policyholders
Requirements:
- University graduate in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in actuarial pricing on life insurance products preferred
- Proficiency in Prophet, VBA, and Excel programming a plus
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with business stakeholders
- Engaging and open-minded working attitude with a focus on teamwork
- Meticulous attention to detail for financial analysis
