Roles and Resposibilities
- Lead the REs and SRTOs/RTOs to monitor, supervise and inspect works
- Work with the QP(D) / QP(S) / QP(Geo) to resolve all design and technical issues arising from the construction of Temporary Works and Permanent Works.
- Manage the Supervision Team to monitor, supervise and inspect works
- Review contractors’ proposal, method statements, risk assessments and designs, including to assist QP(S) and QP(Geo) in reviewing the construction proposals
- To attend site, progress, variation and coordination meetings with CAG and the contractors
Requirments
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience as a civil & structural engineer, of which at least 8 years on projects similar in size and complexity; in particular major construction works in buildings and deep excavation.
- Possess a Civil and Structural Engineering degree recognized by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
- Accredited with the Joint Accreditation Committee of the Institution of Engineers Singapore and the Association of Consulting Engineers Singapore.
- Manage the Supervision team to monitor, supervise and inspect works
- Conversant with statutory code and requirements for site supervision, quality control procedures, construction administration and submission of progress report.
- Possess strong supervision and leadership skills
