- Duties & Responsibilities
- Take all reasonable steps and exercise due diligence in the supervisionof the Works.
- Review and comment on the safety aspects in contractor’s submissions
- Carry out real-time escalation of incident, incident management andpreparation for incident reporting.
- Carry out real-time safety oversight of the work activities.
- Conduct monthly Risk Assessment review of critical activities.
- Conduct monthly review of implementation of risk control measures from Design for Safety assessment.
- Participate in safety committee meeting(s)
- To lead and oversee Supervision Team to ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the Contract and authorities’ requirements.
- To provide overview of WSH and aerodrome safety managemen systems and risk analyses and implementation of safe working practice on site.
- Identify potential problems during construction and work to mitigate these.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience as a civil & structural engineer of which at least 10 years on projects similar in size and complexity; in particular major construction works in buildings, tunnels and deep excavation.
- Possess a civil and structural engineering degree recognised by the Professional Engineers Board of Singapore.
- In current employment under the Contractor for a minimum of 5 years
- Proficient in contract administration with Public Service Sector Conditions of Contract.
- Provide overall team direction and management to realise the project objectives and activities
