Role Introduction
Conduct training on company procedures and line maintenance theoretical knowledge and instructions to frontline staff. Design, produce and maintain training materials/course-ware. Management of training data and statistics in Learning Hub. Participate in training digitisation projects as assigned.
The role location can be based in Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore or Thailand. Successful candidate should possess existing rights to work on the said countries.
A local country based remuneration shall be offered to the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Mechanic Induction Training as assigned
- Deliver Aircraft General Knowledge Training as assigned
- Deliver Line Maintenance Knowledge Training (Aircraft and Cabin) as assigned
- Deliver Human Factors/Crew Resource Management Training as assigned
- Deliver HKAR66 Module Familiarisation Training as assigned
- Prepare, maintain and update course material to ensure ongoing compliance with latest syllabus requirements
- Perform the roles of an internal knowledge examiner, invigilating and preparing theoretical knowledge examinations
- Monitor and report on student progress throughout the syllabus of training
- Support course administration and programming requirements
- Co-ordinate and locally manage required aircraft or other visits for training purposes.
- Ensure lesson plans, training material, classrooms, in house examinations and training aids are prepared.
- Ensure training manuals are maintained in an up-to-date and effective manner.
- Advise on technical subjects within the scope of technical training.
- Preserve the confidentiality of privileged, sensitive or otherwise confidential Company and individual employee information.
- Preserve all rights and regulations in relation to Intellectual property.
- Specific tasks/projects as required by LMTDM/HLM.
- Extensive travel to line stations for training conduction
- Visit CX Headquarter in HKG for KPI/progress reporting when requested (should the staff be outport-based).
Requirements
Qualification
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering/Aviation or a recognised Aircraft Maintenance License
Experience
- At least 5 years of relevant aviation experience
- Previous experience in coaching/maintenance instruction training preferred
- Previous work experience on aircraft types of Cathay fleet preferred
- Extensive airline operational experience as an engineer or at supervisory level
Skills
- PC literate, especially in MS Words, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Forms
- Knowledge on interactive tools such as Slido, CBT, immersive 3D learning
- Solid work on power platform development (PowerApp/BI) and project management
- Previous experience in content creation an advantage
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels
- Good self-motivation for continuous improvement
