- Plan, schedule and achieve workshop maintenance production (maintained by in-sourced staff, and/or out-sourced contractors) for Ground Support Equipment GSE and/or airport automotive vehicles to attain good availability, quality, safety outcomes within budget while complying with regulations and standards.
- Manage work order, spares usage and production using WIAM (computerised asset management and maintenance system). Plan and schedule equipment/vehicles to meet maintenance programs, internal and regulatory inspections and tests.
- Lead and manage assistant engineers/engineering technicians, and/or outsourced contractor production/shift supervisors, and perform shift/resource planning. Review and improve workbay capabilities. Lead programs for continuous improvement, safety and operations excellence.
- Technical SME for fleets under charge. Troubleshooting complex defects, root cause analysis, prepare investigation reports. Identify technical specifications for items/services needed.
- Conduct of training, assist to design training. Guide and train staff to deliver quality maintenance.
- Maintain fleet records and documentation. Analyse records and data to improve fleet performance, maintenance outcomes, as well production.
- Prepared to be appointed as Engineering Supervisor in-charge, or cover for Maintenance Engineer.
Diploma/NITEC qualifications in engineering discipline with relevant technical and management experience. Less experienced candidates will be offered Trainee Assistant Engineer appointments.
Ability to lead and manage multi-cultural technical workforce.
Role modelling, service orientation, technical professionalism.
Able to work on occasional weekend/public holidays as required
Possess class 3 driving license
