Job Summary
1. Fully responsible the business development and lead the sales team for the sales operations to achieve and increase the target.
2. Lead purchase team and oversee the food grains, groceries and goods purchases. Negotiate with suppliers when necessary.
3. Needs to handle export import documentation work particularly customs clearances.
4. Plan and improve the existing business strategies to increase sales.
5. Monitors competitors by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products
6. Responding to and dealing with customer communication by email and telephone and handle customers complaints.
7. Train and streamline new sales staffs on sales techniques and operational duties.
8. Monitor stock and stock movements. Monitoring and Keeping stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate to avoid stock overflow or shortage.
9. Ensure the procurement and warehouse space are proportional. planning future capacity requirements;
10. In case of emergencies, that is in absence of porters needs to load, unload goods. (Able to handle 25 kg, bags).
11. Report to senior manager, director and coordinate with accounts department.
12. Getting customers exact requirement and fulfil their expectation. Continuously upgrade quality of customer service. Always have a smiling face with good intension at heart to help customers to improve business.
Requirements
1. Must have a Master of Business administration degree with adequate computer knowledge or Bachelor’s degree in commerce with computer
2. Minimum 10 years experience in business management field including minimum 5 years work experience in Singapore, particularly in grains and groceries import export business.
3. Able to handle import export documentation works particularly customs clearances.
4. Must have a clear knowledge and experience with Grains and grocery items. Candidates with agricultural family background preferable. When you see grains and groceries roughly you need to estimate when it cultivated and how long it’s shelf life to ensure customers are always getting fresh goods
5. Sound health to load; unload goods in case of emergencies.
6. Effective communications skills with commanding power.
7. Capable to lead the Sales and Purchase teams.
8. Capable to train and streamline new recruitments.
9. Capable to identify and bring new potential market area and new clients
10. Able to work long hours in festive seasons. Must work from Monday to Saturday from 9 am to 8 pm with 3 hours break Saturday and Public holiday’s work compulsory.
