We are representing our client (A surgical optics company headquartered in Singapore to identify suitable candidates for the role of Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer.
The IT Senior Infra Engineer is part of the Global Infrastructure and Operations Teams to ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of IT infrastructure services globally.
SENIOR INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER
Responsibility
- responsible for overseeing and managing the organization's on-premises IT infrastructure, including domain controllers, Office 365, Virtualization, storage & backup and cloud support.
- Manage server roles and features such as AD, DNS, DHCP and file services
- Manage and maintain VMware vSphere environments
- Storage and backup management
- Asure cloud management
- Project management and documentation & reporting
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 5+ years hand-on of experience in IT infrastructure management.
- Professional certifications eg. VCP, ITIL, Microsoft Certified such as Window Server Administration, Azure Administrator Associate are highly desirable.
- Strong technical expertise in Domain Controller, Office 365, VMware, Netapp storage, Veeam backup.
- Experience in Linux environment is a plus.
- Ability to express thoughts and complex IT solution clearly and in a simplified manner.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
