Summary:
As a Guest Service Assistant / Executive, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and courteous services within the hotel, particularly in baggage handling, transport assistance, and general guest inquiries. Your goal is to enhance guest satisfaction through professional and attentive service.
Responsibilities:
- Guest Services: Work closely with the Assistant Manager to deliver courteous and efficient service, responding tactfully to guests’ complaints, requests, and inquiries.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with the Concierge, Reception, Bell Counter, and Front Office Cashier teams to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures.
- Guest Assistance: Establish and maintain positive relationships with house guests and long-staying guests, offering assistance whenever needed.
- Courtesy Calls: Conduct regular courtesy calls to guests, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns.
- Tourist Information: Stay well-versed and updated on all tourist-related information to provide guests with accurate and helpful guidance.
- Promotional Materials: Maintain and manage the stock of promotional materials for daily operations, ensuring that they are readily available for guest use.
- Additional Duties: Undertake any other duties assigned by your superiors, performing them diligently and professionally.
Qualifications:
- Fresh graduates with a relevant qualification in hospitality or at least 1 year of relevant experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest complaints tactfully.
- Knowledge of local tourist attractions and information is an advantage.
- A proactive and professional approach to work.
