Responsibilities:
- Manage daily accounting tasks, including handling accounts payable and receivable.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, such as ASN FRT and MIS, ensuring accurate financial statements and inventory data.
- Perform regular inventory audits to confirm record accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to resolve inventory variances and implement corrective measures.
- Analyze inventory data and trends to offer insights and recommendations for improving inventory management.
- Develop and maintain documentation and audit trails for all inventory transactions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding inventory and financial reporting.
- Prepare and present comprehensive audit reports to senior management, highlighting findings and recommending improvements.
- Monitor and report on key inventory metrics, including stock levels, turnover rates, and valuation accuracy.
- Work closely with finance and operations teams to streamline inventory management processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new inventory management systems and tools.
- Verify inventory records to ensure the accuracy of listed information.
- Collaborate with accounts and the internal audit manager to prepare required tax and audit reports.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Accountancy/Finance/Banking or related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or inventory management.
- Experience with inventory audits and reconciliation is highly preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a team in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of international shipping, customs regulations, and import/export procedures.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Excel.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in managing financial and inventory records.
