Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the fleet, including scheduling and coordinating vehicle usage.
- Ensure timely maintenance and repairs of fleet vehicles to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
- Monitor fleet performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Coordinate transportation and logistics activities to support construction projects and operations.
- Manage the movement of materials, equipment, and personnel between sites and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of logistics operations, including transportation schedules and inventory levels.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and present reports on fleet performance, logistics operations, and associated costs to management.
- Maintain detailed records of fleet maintenance, transportation activities, and compliance documentation.
- Assist in budgeting and cost control for fleet operations.
- Support the logistics team with general administrative tasks and other duties as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain / Construction or equivalent
- At least 1 – 2 years of relevant fleet / transportation experience, preferable in the construction industries
- Good understanding of fleet management practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to start work immediately or within short notice is highly preferred
