Responsibilities
- Oversee daily maintenance operations, ensuring all equipment and machinery are functioning efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct routine inspections and manage preventative maintenance schedules to minimize equipment downtime.
- Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians and engineers, including hiring, training, and performance management.
- Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and cost control.
- Manage inventory and procurement of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Implement and enforce safety procedures and protocols to safeguard staff and equipment.
- Identify and address potential maintenance issues before they impact operations.
- Collaborate with other departments to prioritize maintenance needs and manage work orders effectively.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on maintenance operations, costs, and performance to senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and compliance documentation.
Requirements:
- Minimum Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 – 6 years of relevant maintenance & operations experience in the chemical industries
- Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures, safety regulations, and compliance standards.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
