Your Role:
As the Technical Manager at iCyber, you will lead a team dedicated to IT infrastructure projects, including systems, networks, and storage solutions. You will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure systems, ensuring that projects are delivered efficiently and meet client requirements. Your role will involve strategic planning, team management, and collaboration with various departments to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
Supervise a team of engineers specializing in IT infrastructure, providing direction, support, and mentoring to foster a high-performance environment. Ensure alignment with business objectives and manage project deliverables and timelines.
Infrastructure Expertise:
Act as the subject matter expert on IT infrastructure, including systems, networks, and storage solutions. Ensure the team is equipped to handle complex infrastructure projects and provide guidance on best practices and emerging technologies.
Project Execution:
Lead the team in planning, designing, and implementing IT infrastructure projects. Oversee the integration and configuration of systems, network components, and storage solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs and organizational standards.
Strategic Planning:
Set the strategic direction for IT infrastructure projects, aligning with business goals and industry best practices. Stay updated on the latest technologies and trends to drive innovation and efficiency in project execution.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments, including Sales, Operations, and Project Management, to ensure seamless execution of infrastructure projects. Engage with clients to understand their needs and ensure successful project delivery and support.
Requirements:
At least 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 5 years in a technical leadership role overseeing diverse teams.
Extensive knowledge of:
Infrastructure Systems: Experience with system design, deployment, and management, including servers, storage, and virtualization.
Networking: Expertise in network design, implementation, and management, including protocols, security, and troubleshooting.
Project Management: Proven experience in managing infrastructure projects, including planning, execution, and stakeholder communication.
Cloud Computing: Understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and services, including deployment and management of cloud resources.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a technical team, manage projects, and drive results.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business terms.
Relevant industry certifications, such as Cisco CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or similar, are preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with large-scale IT infrastructure projects, including government or enterprise environments.
Familiarity with automation and configuration management tools.
Strong background in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
