Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all regulatory reporting globally, including but not limited to MAS Risk-Based Capital, MAS filing, SGX reporting and other regimes that the Firm operates in.
- Responsible to drive long-term capital planning given changing business and regulatory environments globally.
- Lead monthly closing process, ensuring accuracy in the financials.
- Involve in building and maintaining financial/analytical models to support business decision making.
- Involve in data analytics to provide insights on business performance.
- Lead/involve in the transformation process of the finance function into data-driven and highly automated function.
Job Requirements:
- More than 8 years relevant experience in the financial industry, preferably with knowledge in foreign exchange, Futures and Options, OTC derivatives, securities, and/or fixed income products.
- Working experience in regulatory reporting is essential.
- Degree in Accountancy and preferably a Chartered Accountant.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to link financial numbers with business activities, and use of business intelligence tools.
- Keen interest in technology, strong belief in data, open-minded and having a growth mindset are essential traits to be successful in this role.
- Basic statistical analysis using Python or R Studio is an advantage.
