Your Role:
At iCyber, we are looking for a driven and skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our solutions delivery team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the successful implementation of Tenable solutions for our customers, ensuring smooth project execution and enhancing their cybersecurity posture. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Account Managers, and technical teams to deliver projects on time, build strong customer relationships, and support the integration of Tenable technologies into various environments.
Your Opportunity:
- Implement Tenable Solutions: Lead the deployment and configuration of Tenable products, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with customer security needs.
- Project Execution: Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver project milestones, manage timelines, and ensure seamless integration of Tenable solutions into the client's security infrastructure.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Provide hands-on troubleshooting, debugging, and optimization for Tenable solutions during the deployment process.
- Customer Support: Provide post-implementation support, helping customers resolve any technical issues and ensuring they get the most out of Tenable products.
- Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including implementation plans, user guides, and runbooks to ensure knowledge transfer and customer self-sufficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Sales and Technical teams to ensure smooth transitions from pre-sales to delivery and that project goals are met.
What You’ll Need:
- Implementation Expertise: Proven experience deploying and configuring Tenable products, especially Nessus, Tenable.sc, and Tenable.io, and integrating them with customer environments.
- Technical Problem-Solving: Strong hands-on troubleshooting skills, particularly with network security technologies, vulnerability scanning, and compliance tools.
- Cybersecurity Knowledge: Familiarity with vulnerability management, threat detection, and compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, NIST).
- Cloud & On-Prem Knowledge: Understanding of cybersecurity ecosystems both on-premises and in the cloud, including integration with CMDB, Ticketing, Patch Management, and PAM solutions.
- Project Management Awareness: Ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate with teams, and adhere to deadlines while delivering high-quality results.
- Documentation Skills: Proficient in creating detailed technical documentation for implementation processes and troubleshooting guides.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel as needed within the project’s scope (up to 25%).
And Ideally:
- Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience, with a focus on solution delivery and project implementation.
- Certifications: Tenable certifications or relevant cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP or equivalent.
- Network Knowledge: Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network security, and related technologies.
- System Experience: Experience with enterprise-class operating systems and security tools.
- DevOps Skills: Familiarity with Docker, DevOps practices, API scripting, and Python SDK is a plus.
- Proactive Attitude: A self-starter who is adaptable, resourceful, and up-to-date with the latest security technologies.
