AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

As a Senior Account Manager with Amazon Web Services (AWS) focused on large customers in Singapore, you will have the exciting opportunity to help promote the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology. Your responsibilities will include increasing adoption, and market penetration across Singapore.

We are looking for candidates with a proven track record of success in delivering results, with ability to engage CxO’s with confidence, ability to orchestrate cross-functional teams (internally and externally), great communication skills, and must be able to explain cloud computing and infrastructure solutions at Level 100 (minimum).


Key job responsibilities

  • Drive revenue and market share in a defined territory
  • Impact market awareness in the Singapore market
  • Exceed a set business objectives
  • Develop and execute against a comprehensive enterprise account plan
  • Manage large enterprise accounts concurrently & strategically
  • Create & articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services
  • Accelerate customer adoption
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Work with partners to extend reach & drive adoption
  • Possess the technical ability to explain Cloud Computing, infrastructure solutions (Server, Storage, DC Services) & Internet architectures (firewalls, load balancers, etc)
  • Develop case studies
  • Draft various business reports
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
  • Ensure customer satisfaction

Basic qualifications

  • 7+ years of direct sales or business development in software, cloud or SaaS markets selling to C-level executives experience
  • 10+ years of business development, partner development, sales or alliances management experience

Preferred qualifications

  • 5+ years of building profitable partner ecosystems experience
  • Experience developing detailed go to market plans
