Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain various types of audiovisual equipment, including projectors, sound systems, displays, microphones, and video conferencing systems.
- Perform regular maintenance and technical upgrades to extend the life and efficiency of AV equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to audiovisual systems and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for the installation, calibration, and configuration of audiovisual systems and mechanical devices.
- Document repair activities and maintain accurate service records.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and internal teams on AV system operation.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during repair and maintenance activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in AV equipment repair and maintenance.
- Strong mechanical and technical skills in troubleshooting AV systems.
- Familiarity with sound systems, multimedia projectors, video conferencing systems, and other AV technologies.
- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical diagrams, schematics, and blueprints.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency repairs in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
