The Job:
Resident Management
- Support the Case Executives in managing dormitory units.
- Plan and execute engaging and beneficial weekly & holiday unit bonding programs.
- Conduct regular circle times to communicate with residents and gather feedback.
- Manage residents according to individualised care plans and meet their educational needs.
- Guide residents through trauma experiences and build resilience with a multidisciplinary team.
- Ensure residents' safety, health, and good behaviour inside the Home and during outings.
- Monitor resident attendance, and adherence to Home structures, and prevent risky behavior.
- Report any complaints, suspicions of abuse, or self-harm to the Case Executive.
- Encourage and reward good behavior, prevent and discipline misbehavior as per Home’s rules.
- Supervise the use of electronic devices, enforce locked toilet policies, and provide behavioural guidance.
Youth Engagement
- Develop youth into well-adjusted and contributing members of society through interventions and programs.
- Support Case Executive in-home visits and service coordination for families.
- Assess youth needs through feedback from multiple stakeholders.
- Engage youths through interest or play-based activities and deliver group support.
- Assist in the formulation, implementation, and monitoring of Individual Care Plans.
- Maintain proper records of services rendered in accordance with organization policy and MSF licensing requirements.
Requirements:
Work Experience & Skills
- Experience in child-centred environments, vigilance in managing a big group of children, flexibility in decision-making, empathy with firmness in discipline, collaborative team work.
Personal Qualities & Behavioral Traits
- Passion and patience for working with children, independent working ability, pleasant disposition, good interpersonal skills, strong morals and ethics.
