Our client is a venture capital fund that invests in clean and renewable energy sector, they value environment sustainability and brings positive impact to economies. As the business continues to grow, they are looking for an Accountant (6-month contract) and the role is based in Singapore.
Key responsibilities:
- Collect and consolidate data from investment teams, portfolio companies etc to fulfill reporting requirements
- Maintain and update the data in the Management Information System
- Collaborate with different teams to prepare reports to investors and other stakeholders
- Ensure the data and reports are valid and delivered on time
- Liaise with different stakeholders such as fund administrators, portfolio companies etc
- Other ad-hoc duties related to accounting and reporting
Key requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other accounting qualification
- At least 3 years of Audit / Fund Administration / Corporate Accounting/ Operations / Data experience with exposure to Venture Capital or Private Equity Funds
- Detailed-oriented, motivated, good analytical skills
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Efficient, independent
- Those with interests in renewable energy industry or environment sustainability is an advantage
