Job Scope:
Marine Technician, FFA:
- Inspecting and maintaining fire safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, alarms, detection systems, and sprinkler systems
- Conducting regular testing to ensure equipment is working correctly and meets regulatory standards
- Replacing and repairing equipment that is damaged or faulty
- Providing advice on fire safety procedures and practices to crew members
- Investigating and analyzing causes of fire-related incidents
- Collaborating with other crew members to develop emergency response plans and evacuation procedures
- Providing training to crew members on fire safety and emergency response procedures
Marine, Liferaft Technician
- Inspect and repair life rafts and safety gear to make sure they work properly.
- Keep records of what you do and ensure everything meets safety rules.
- Be ready to help when ships need their safety equipment serviced or replaced.
Requirement:
- Minimum Nitec in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Marine/Mechatronic Engineering OR related studies
- Preferably candidate with at least 1 year experience
- Entry level is welcome to apply as they'll be trained by professional.
- Candidate with class 3 will be advantageous for the job.
