Job Responsibilities
- Prepare drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks
- Liaise with staff in overseas factories and prepare technical product drawings for marketing purposes such as proposal cut sheets, installation drawings, user guides & instruction manuals
- Prepare technical product specifications/drawings for the purchasing team to communicate with the supplier and liaise with the supplier whenever technical information is requested
- Prepare multiple versions of designs for review by engineers and architects
- Document and file on 2D and 3D product drawings & renderings
- Implement changes to engineering drawings when necessary
- Other ad-hoc job duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Experience in construction-related or technical product field is a bonus
- Hold a minimum qualification of a Higher Nitec/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Design Engineering or equivalent
- Have prior technical experience in using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Rhino 3D candidates without formal qualifications will be considered
- Other software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, 3D Max, Revit (BIM), and SAP is an added advantage
- Be able to read architectural, structural, ID, and M&E trading drawings
