Role Overview:
We seek a highly skilled Java/J2EE Developer with at least five (5) years of experience in application development. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in Java technologies, including J2EE, Java 1.8+, and experience with tools such as JSF, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. The role will involve working with modern databases like Oracle 19c, implementing secure applications, and using UI frameworks for user interface development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain complex web-based applications using Java/J2EE technologies.
- Work with various development tools and technologies, such as JSF, HTML5, PL/SQL, Struts, Hibernate, and Spring Framework (Spring 4.x/5.x).
- Develop applications using JBoss EAP 7.x, integrated with Oracle 19c database.
- Implement microservices architecture, ensuring high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance.
- Use modern UI frameworks like Primefaces, Angular, or Node.js to build user-friendly front-end applications.
- Integrate SOAP/REST APIs for application communication and functionality.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices, coding standards, and application security guidelines.
- Apply software development methodologies and tools, including test automation tools like JMeter.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement security enhancements throughout the development lifecycle.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, functionality, and security.
Technical Skills:
- Java Technologies: J2EE, Java 1.8 and above.
- Frameworks: Spring (4.x, 5.x), Spring Boot 2.x, Hibernate, Struts, JSF 3.x.
- Database: Oracle 19c, PL/SQL.
- Application Servers: JBoss EAP 7.x.
- UI Development: HTML5, Primefaces (6.x/7.x/8.x), Angular, Node.js.
- Web Services: SOAP, RESTful APIs.
- Microservices: Minimum three (3) years of experience with microservices architecture.
- Security: Experience in secure application development and lifecycle security practices.
- Testing Tools: JMeter or similar tools for performance and load testing.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field.
- At least five (5) years of hands-on experience in Java/J2EE development.
- Strong understanding of web development, web services, and database management.
- Experience in developing secure applications that comply with industry standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
