Job Description & Requirements
- Responsible for overseeing the shipment and delivery of goods and warehouse settings for retailers and wholesalers.
- Manage the loading of trucks, setting up delivery routes and unloading of materials.
- Direct and review work plan for assigned staff.
- To train new logistics assistants
- Meet with staff to identify and resolve problem.
- Monitor storeroom and warehouse material usage
- Maintain accurate records and files of inventory usage.
- Develop delivery schedules and drop shipment strategies
- Assist with budget preparation and administration.
- Coordinate warehousing and storeroom activities with outside agencies and organizations.
- Implement appropriate safety guidelines and investigate injuries or unsafe conditions.
- Perform ad-hoc tasks as required.
Requirements:
- GCE O Levels , Diploma / University degree or equivalent, preferably in Logistics Management but not a must
- 4-8 years of warehouse management experience.
- Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures.
- Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
