- Assist the Business Development to develop and execute the e-commerce roadmap in order to achieve or exceed the sales targets set by the Management.
- Lead in the implementation of online and in-store promotions and marketing activities to generate and/or increase viewership/traffic.
- Upload new and manage existing product listings on company’s website and the various e-marketplaces and ensure products’ details such as prices and descriptions published are accurate, up-to-date and factual.
- Handle customers’ enquiries and requests, and manage their expectations through phone calls and messaging (phone, and chat function on e-marketplaces and website).
- Engage in Service Recovery – monitor reviews on e-commerce platforms and proactively engage customers.
- Handle exchange and return requests.
- Lead a team to fulfil customers’ orders based on established procedures and Service Level Agreements and lead the day-to-day order processing, fulfilment and invoicing procedures.
- Oversee the team in ensuring the optimal stock quantity and generate Purchase Orders for suppliers.
- Manage and maintain the warehouse inventory for online sales. Assist in stock-take/spot check of inventory when needed.
- Reorder and replenish packing materials when depleting, and recommend new relevant ones as and when come across.
- Oversee the coordination with relevant internal departments or external partners to ensure smooth order processing and delivery of products to customers.
- Undertake administrative tasks such as data entry and sales tracking so as to better assist Finance in month and year-end account closing processes.
- Perform periodic analysis of our products and our competitors’ product offerings and pricing including analyzing of customer data and purchasing behavior to identify market trends and opportunities.
- Maintain cleanliness of office space, packing area and warehouse space.
- Any other ad-hoc duties/projects assigned by the Management.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma in E-commerce, Marketing or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of working experience in similar capacity with good knowledge of the e-commerce sphere, with at least 6 years in a supervisory role. Those with experience in managing and selling on online platforms or social media has an added advantage.
- IT-savvy with proficient computer and photo/video editing skills such as in Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, ERP.
- Must be organized, resourceful with the ability to multi-task and work under tight schedules and deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently.
- Must be task and results-oriented with a positive “can-do” attitude.
